FAQ: Arena mode

They changed tock variants midway through last season but I guess that didn't count being beta... Plus, code changes were applied retroactively but this was apparently unavoidable.

I just made a suggestion that every win in Arena mode should be worth at least one star (even if the opponent is 3+ levels below you):

Is there are a way to see how many players are competing in Arena Mode for a given game? (Except clicking "display more" on the rankings page again and again and again and again (only adds the next 10 players per click)).

Hi all, it happened several times that we played a game with a player with very bad reputation (<20%) in arena mode, and yes, the player quit the game in 4/5th round of Terra Mystica which is very frustrating. Can you please restrict it to at least 60%, most of the players are over 90% anyway.

You can set this by yourself, if you switch to arena mode, there is a settings wheel (between your arena lvl and the fav heart), there you go to „show extended options“, and there you can restrict low karma levels.

Could anyone tell me where Arena settings for particular game can be addressed?
I would opt for auction version in Clans of Caledonia for next season

@metro: It is best to post your suggestion in the dedicated game forum of Clans of Caledonia. If enough people support you, the admins may change the settings.

It worked out well for Tokaido where they changed Arena settings according to forum opinion. https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... 90&t=14948

But this Tokaido change is a rare case with a surprisingly uncontroversial forum opinion. The more usual case would be that there is a big dispute over the best settings (as you can see from the very heated discussions about 7Wonders settings).
