What happens if a novice actually destroys a master?

Hello, I have a ELO question.

What if a novice 0-99 actually win against a master 700+?

The master dies on a heartstroke immediately and is permabanned from the platform, and the novice is declared as official king of the world (finally a way to get rid of Trump).

(Or the master just loses a ton of points (~20?) which the novice gains (multiply, depending on how much he played already))

Because lots of ELO points are lost, the top players don't want to risk playing lower rated ones, who actually
might be good but have not played enough for high ELO.

If the novice (Elo 99) wins he gains 60 (k factor limiting the gain, instead of the whole 99) against master (Elo 700) who losses 20 points (20 k factor limits the loss, instead of losing the whole 39.23 pts). The flip side of the question is what does the master hope to gain risking the loss of 20 pts by beating a novice? Nothing, (well 0.61 Elo point to be exact).

So, just like the above post said, most likely the master will decline playing the novice and the game does not get played.

Hum, weird that there is a limit scoring for the novice, and soo low for the expected logic.
Also, I play a lot of hex against a master and there is no way, to this day, to win.

Where luck factor is higher master probably won't risk. Other way master won't play if it would be boring. For short skill games, master could get easy 1 ELO

I think that if someone has a ZERO rating, it should be assumed they are any level.
The system should not just automatically treat them as a beginner player with no experience, someone with a zero can just as easily be an expert, especially in a new game on the system (La Granja)
This is a result from a 4 player game today, ideally I wouldn't be losing points for 2nd place here.

Just curious, how are you going to get a single number as a result for a calculation when you put a wild number into it? How do you calculate their new EKO if they start with 0?

"Oh, yeah, they had a 0 ELO. But they came in 2nd in a 6 player game, so we're... going to assume they should have had an 900 ELO to start with, That OK? 3-6 don't lose any... Oh, wait, but that would mean 1st would have to gain...."

This is the reason the k-factor changes based on number of games played. It is assumed that players may be at a skill level different than what BGA thinks, and that for the first several games greater changes in ELO will put them closer to a number representing their true skill level.
