Speed limit line "4" before a 4 speed corner?

Post by UUDDLRLRBA »

On some tracks there is a striped speed limit line with the same value as the speed limit of the corner itself. Why is this?

For example on Daytona, the second last corner has a two lanes wide inner section. The corner has a maximum speed of 4. Going in from the inner lane, you have to cross a speed limit line of 3. This makes sense. But from the middle lane you cross a 4 speed limit line. This seems redundant, as you cannot go faster than 4 anyway. Or am I missing something?

think this tile in the other way...

In Atlanta, maybe thaht doesnt make sense

But imagine the tile in reverse position... it means the one space AFTER this corner in the same lane, you need to be at 4 maximum (can't go to 5)

As said by Flolem, tiles are 2 directions : in and out.
