Arena game missed. What do you do to your opponent?

Hi everyone.

First time i missed game start and my time runned out. Yeah, my bad.

But what I did from opposite side..

I know that in some cases people can't see notification, so they miss start.
First I write a message to other player when he is out of time. If he don't answer or make a first move I propose to abandon game together. No winner mo loser. Few times other player joined game, few times I abandoned.
I do this way because it is a game (although cempetition in Arena) and for me it would be too cheap to win points without playing. And getting "thank you" weights more.

Want to know your thoughts and action in this type of situation.

I think this is a good and sporting decision. Another option is converting to turn based, though most useful for a game that has started where someone has to leave if you check and the other person plays some turn based it isn’t unreasonable to do this.

I am happy to say this situation seems more and more rare since the connection checks were put into place by bga staff.
