Arena Match Start Notification

Problem: when you queue up for the Arena matches, the wait can be substantial (15+ minutes). There is then no notification that a match has started! The games begins automatically without asking for each opponent to "accept".

Of course, players may have another browser open, may be making tea, etc. I just missed a match, got a quitter badge, and hurt my ranking. All because I had no idea that the match had started...

Maybe add an alert tone? Or a "accept" button before automatically starting the Arena Match?

I wish there was more discussion on this topic, and fixes to ensure sound notifications always go through. Whenever I step away from my computer I take my connected bluetooth with me so that I would be able to hear sounds of a game starting, but there have been multiple cases where this I haven't heard anything. When the games only have a couple of minutes to play your full turn, it's so easy to miss it at the start of the game. It's also just not feasible to keep the tab open at all times for sometimes, as you mentioned, 15+ minute queues!

I agree. This is frustrating. I will start a game, wait 10-15 minutes, no one comes. So I start doing something else on my computer and for some reason there is no sound announcing the game has started! As a result I'm in the top 60 and drop down to the top 180! I was sitting there ready to play - just didn't know the game had started.
