Any way to remove start worlds?

Me and my college friends have been playing Race for the Galaxy here lately and having a great time. We only have one complaint: we hate the start worlds! When we play in person we never use them because we feel they're imbalanced and they pigeonhole you into a limited number of strategies. Is there any way to disable start worlds? If not, will the developers consider it?

Yes it's possible, it's an option that you can set on or off when creating a table.

There is an option to disable the new start world (6 new start worlds added in the 2nd edition). However, it's not possible to completely disable start worlds and begin with an empty tableau if that's what you meant. That would be an unofficial variant and those are not supported on BGA.
