Forbidden Island - Game with many bugs

Two player game with diver and pilot.
Besides the usual bugs (having to F5 now and then), we reached a situation where we had big bugs.

As diver, I could not move to now-adjacent tiles after other tiles had sunk.
I had a benner saying "Loading game" and "Connecting to game" (text may not be accurate in english, as I play with the interface in Spanish, see picture below).
Chat box was lost. Past game events were lost. Only after the other player wrote someting it was back in a different BGA window.

We were at Fool's Landing with all treasures collected and sourrounded by water. We coud only skip turn. No moving, no giving cards, no shoring up...

Tiles kept sinking. We ended up at Fool's Landing, it being flooded, and not winning the game as we expected. It would have been an epic victory.

F5 showed server errors.

I don't think this is a "bug" so not sure where to put the comment.
It may just be me, but I often have a hard time finding the player pieces on certain tiles. They can often blend into the background (ex: yellow on temple of the sun, etc). Its not terrible, but would it be worth adding a thick black line around the edge of the pieces so they are more defined?

If we can undo all the way to the action 1, that'd be ideal.

Would it be possible to add my group of (non-reviewer eligible) players to the Forbidden Island players group such that I could play it with them for more exposure?
