Arena Questions regarding Beta Games

Hi admin team (or whoever else knows the answer ,
I've not been able to find a quick answer so thought I'd ask here. I'm curious when a game opens for arena mode. Does it open when a game moves to beta or when a game moves out of beta or does it have to wait after moving out of beta until the beginning of a new arena "season"? I am pretty sure it isn't option #1 as I don't think beta games have arena, but I did want to ask explicitly. Perhaps this is an ongoing deliberation as to how this should work in the future.
I think it would probably be a good idea to put some information that addresses these points in perhaps the "read this first" section of the Beta forum here. Or perhaps another place too?

Initially arena was available also for beta games, but as the games were not fully stable there were some complaints. So we decided to wait till games are fully released before opening the arena (not saying that all released games are perfectly stable, squashing all bugs is a long term thing, but they are more stable than in beta).
