he fToo many lines in trame to buy ressource to other player

Post by Hollande »

Hi !
Let met explain my idea.
I think the frame
when you need to buy ressources with coins to others players a way too fare OVER-detailled.
I look like a debbuged mode.
In my mind, the only thing that the buyer need to see is the summary of how many coins for the left player and the right player
Not to have the full detail of all ressources combination (sometimes 10 lines)
I will be also appreciated that
- the total cost of each line is displayed to avoid to use the calculator
- lines could be ordered for the lowest global cost the highest.
It will be also nice if the number of coins of each player is also displayed in the summary frame with the total number of point calculated

For sure, it's very annoying. I fully agree on everything you said. Even more when playing real time.

Also, i sometimes had to choose how much to pay and to whom, and only after that, it will tell me I can't as I already have a similar card !
This problem could easily be solved by a black cross for example, similar to the red one when you can't buy because you don't have the ressources.

Yeah, this annoys me as well. I have looked into this and potentially this could be improved with Pythia, but it's a big mess how it works in BGA so will take quite an effort. I will see what I can do about it.

I understand your arguments, but for me it is better on PC, because it teaches begginers vhy they are paying that much.

Is this printscreen below really 'helpful' to make a better choice, for any player?

In 90+% cases the cheapest option is the best, so sorting would be sufficient IMHO.

The player can learn to build more resources, so they can waste less money? :D

Is the screenshot really so bad? For me no, but I understand that you can have different opinion.
