Css file not loading

Hi!

I have one problem that is getting me frustated. It seems sometimes the game isn't applying the css file i have uploaded to the server. In principle, the uploading process is all correct, the version I see on the server through the FTP program has the right time and date of the new version. But, somehow, when I am testing, the css version of the file I see applied to the game is a previous one.

Can that be caused by a sintax problem in the css? I have checked the css file with an online css checking tool and it says it has no errors.

Or may it be related to the browser I am using?

Any hint to whay may be happening will be greatly appreciated.

After editing CSS files, try refreshing the page with Strg+F5 or delete the browser cache manually. That should solve the problem

If you are using firefox, install the CSS Reload extension, it will save you reloads. That way, you do not reload the whole game.

Also try a different browser, or an incognito window. If one of those is showing the new CSS, then it is a caching issue. Each computer and browser has different ways of forcing a refresh.

For me, it helps forcing a reload of all including all assets. On the chrome that is the shortcut "ctrl+shift+r", I think on firefox, too.
