i recommend phat. a great trick taking card game with a standard deck of cards where you play with a partner trying to score the 9s and 5s. two variants 181 where each play gets to pick trumph in sequence. (301 trumph is predetermined sequence). 181 and 301 is the winning score for each. 9s and 5s are face value with trumph (big and small don) counting double. akqj of trumph counts 4,3,2,1 make up 80 points per round with an additional 8 points for muck per round calculated with the 10s counting face value jqka 1,2,3,4 adding to a total of 80. 41 gets you the 8 points for muck. in a tie i think noone gets it. Very popular in pockets of Britain in my Dads genetation but dying a bit now here in Lanarkshire.
