Petition for a Game Mode that REMOVES Temporal Boots.

Hello.

I think I speak for most Seasons players when I say that this is the single most powerful card in the game. It alone can easily win games, but in conjunction with Amsug Longneck, the card becomes broken, unfair, and it creates a very negative play experience.

If there was a game mode that simply took Temporal Boots out of the game, I think most players would greatly appreciate it. I guess this thread will prove how right I am, but I know I would love this game a LOT more without that card in it.

I would especially appreciate that a developer takes care of correcting the bugs reported for years for some, and improve the ergonomics, like the information on the sizes of the draw and discard piles, the other sides of the dice of the seasons chosen by the players, ordering the cards in play following the chronological order of play.

As for your request, not only do I not support it, but I am against a change in the official rules that is not justified by serious arguments. Play with more extensions, so you can more easily prevent your opponents from getting the combinations you dread.

First, you gave a grand total of 48 hours for people to consider this. In game-specific forums, this is not a lot of time.

Second, any proposed variation should have a link to either the publisher or developer showing that at least one of those entities believes the rule change should be made. Otherwise, it falls under "house rules" that BGA cannot implement. BGA's licenses for the games are to provide digital copies of the physical experience. Changing the rules change the game, which means that it is not the same as the physical copy, which means it would be a violation of the license.

I definitely do not support your petition. Really good players are prepared for their third year to perhaps get this card so they are not vulnerable. I have won and lost games with this card. Develop better strategies and be prepared.
