My favorite board game that I don't see on BGA is "Acquire". This was originally a 3M bookshelf game. We have played it for over 50 years. It takes about 1.5 hours to play. It really requires 3 or more players. Every turn requires active strategic thinking, both short term and long term.
We have always played it with one added rule; Any player on their turn can sell as much stock as they wish. This allows a player to stay actively engaged in the game (buying and selling stock in pursuit of opportunities) instead of maybe being stuck with stock in a hotel that isn't doing anything.
I would suggest this game be added to BGA. What does anyone else think?
