How it can possible??? How can I grow?

you gained 12 points, that's how you grow. you beat someone 100+ points below you, that's why you earn below the average of 20 points.

But if I'll lose a match too many points will be taken away from me and this discourages the game of those who arrive in the first positions ...
In my opinion they should still leave the normal scores (in the various "group" competitions that you win with the first in the standings or with the last, the points collected are the same ...
They could introduce bonuses in such a way that LESS points are deducted from a low ranking person if he loses with a much stronger one, but at the same time if the winner does so clearly he must have bonuses.

The point of an ELO rating is to approximate the skill of players. If you have a higher rating than your opponent, then presumably you will win more than half the time, and as such you would lose more for a loss than you gain for a win so that your rating stays roughly the same. Just because you are higher rated than your opponent does not mean you should expect to lose rating, unless you are somewhat overrated or your opponent is underrated.

This issue has been brought up multiple times already but I'm adressing it once more since it appears nothing has been done in this regard. When in elite league a player with high EAS might be losing points when a player abandons or gets kicked which is very unfair, I may have had some bad luck but it happened so many times to me that i ended up losing something like 40 EAS points throughout last season through no fault of my own, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that other players had a similar experience, now 40 points (but even less) could be pretty determining for the end of season placement. So in my opinion something should be changed here, maybe make abandoning players lose points and the remaining players gain nothing, or having nobody lose/gain points but giving more strict penalties like not being able to access arena mode for some period of time (these are just the first random ideas that came to my mind). This unless there's a very good reason that I'm not seeing to keep things like that, but since none of the players that complained about this during last season got a response that i know of I'm guessing this issue just hasn't been noticed at all so I'm bringing this up again.
This has just happened to me, I'm ranked 1st and I've just lost points from another player timing out.. Im really shocked!!

Is there anywhere we can put in an official complaint ?

Thanks

It is listed as a bug here. https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=17503
you can upvote it, but that's about it. This has been mentioned so many times on the forum over and over again the past 6 months and should be a pretty easy fix as they've already done it with Elo but nothing yet from the devs about fixing it.

What happens to all the turn-based arena games which aren't finished end of season? Do they count for next one?
