Hey All,
You have so so many games now, which is great, but a lot of them really don't get played that much, and I think you could maybe fix that with a training day?
Have 2 slow days on your game site be LEARNING DAYS FOR UNLOVED GAMES ( or everyday ) - 1) don't have people have to wait to play these games ( like veggie garden, battle for hill 218, and other games that do not have a certain number of people who play them - in learning mode only, if I am teaching the game, but make us non-premium members wait the rest of the time, no problem with that. ). 2) let people use the microphone for free, so we can talk to each other with out being a premium player. If I could explain The Battle For Hill 218, it would be so much better then me writing to try and explain it to people ( which I use to do a lot )( again if it is not clear - just during learning mode. 3) have something that says -- Learning Day Teacher -- so people see you are tryin to teach the game to new people, and you are willing to help them and explain the rules to them, and you have access to the microphone and are willing to help explain the game.
Just an idea
If you want all the game played more, then let people be able to teach them easier, and I feel you will get more people playing a lot more different games if you have a learning/training day for the unloved games here ( I do not mean Stone Age, carcassonne, etc. need added to the training day games, just the one that hardly get played. I am ranked 22 in veggie garden and have hardly played, The battle for hill 218 is an incredibly strategic game that is hard to get players for , but most people have a problem learning the rules with out someone explaining it to them, and even then I have friends who struggle with it. So having someone talking them through the game would bring in more players for the future - I am guessing.
