Joker rules: bug or feature? Had 0, got bonus

Hi. I know there are a lot of rule variations so before I file a bug, I better doublecheck.

I googled rules:

As long as you've scored 50 in the YAHTZEE box , you get a YAHTZEE bonus for each additional YAHTZEE you roll - just squeeze in the check marks if necessary!

My opponent had 0 in Yahtzee and still got bonus which was used then for large straight. I suspect my Yahtzee might be buggy counted as his/her:

You only get the +100 if you Scored the Yahtzee box already

Yahtzee’s are always a joker regardless
