Please revert it back to the old version or at least allow us to select it.

Definitely true this comment. It will be awesome to have the chance to play with old version at least in this season. Too many changes too fast.

Well, no choice: 7 Wonders new edition is official today (worldwide) and we have the do the switch today.

Shifting the goalposts right in the middle of a competition makes that competition a joke.

Yeah, but recall that the game published here does not belong to them ! Ff the publisher wanted to update 7Wonders everywhere, they may have asked BGA to update it here also in order to keep the license agreement.

I was just wondering, since you guys have recently been updating the artwork for some of the board games on this site, such as Carcassonne and now 7 Wonders, are you also going to update artwork for all the other games too?
For example, Jaipur now has new artwork but the site still only uses the old artwork.

That's not how it works. 7 Wonders does not belong to BGA, to be able to offer it to the players on the website they either comply with the actual owner's requests or remove it from the website.

In Arena you must play this awfull Version. Olympia is much downgrade from a weak Position and Halicarnassos/Babylon is much upgraded from a strong position.
Why should that be more balanced?
The Upgrade patches for cards are brocken. So it becames unposible to change Strategie in the middle of a game.
This makes this game only a lucky game. Strategie is lost.

Hey guys, after the changes Olympia seems to me weaker than ever so I wonder, do you have any tips how to play it?
(The only thing I came up so far is, that as Olympia is not strong in any strategy I can just go for a strategy no one around table is locked to... but to play science with brics as starting rescource, and this wonders feels really strange)

i prefer the old version. this is more fresh colours ,but the cards are awful.
