100% to 30%

Post by Angiepandaa »

ummm what on earth. i don't believe 20% of players don't like playing with me. once again masters can red thumb and screw beginners. the only drama i get is with hanabi and only with masters. so now i'll be forever stuck at 30% because "masters" (which i don't even know how they could be) didn't agree...

I never play with Masters for this reason. All my games are strong or below. I used to not even include strong players, but since I surpassed 300 ELO, I can't uninclude myself...

Sorry to hear you had uneventful encounter with such Hanabi players.

It is strange that such humans play a cooperative game like Hanabi with such attitude.
Ryusan makes a good suggestion to play with Good level players.

Another tip is before game begins, you can chat and offer other players that you are alright to abandon game.
Because if an inexperience player fumbles on Hanabi, high level players suffer heavy ELO lost.
Master playing with master on Hanabi, if successful usually only gain maximum of 2 ELO points.
Should they lose / fail in a game, the lost can be as high as 10 ELO lost.

Therefore, offer to abandon game will take the edge of them. Enjoy BGA games for only EUR4 a month.

learn from youre mistakes ask them to tell you what you did wrong be respectfull and many of them actully spare their time to teach you if you show interest in learning but most begginers dosent want to listen to masters even when masters wants to teach them they get angry at masters when they tell them about their wrong moves so why would a master want to play with such a begginer a red thumb is for then

There's absolutely no excuse for them to give you "public redthumbs". they could either give you a private redthumb or just choose not to play with beginners. They're in the wrong there.
