What is the deal with 'Real-Time' Tournaments? I registered for a tournament not noticing it was a 'Real-Time' variety. Participated in many 'turn-based' and thought they were all Turn-Based. So, my bad, I'll be more careful in the future.
So long story short, I work up today having missed 12 (of 13) tournament games and with my karma trashed (100% to 30%).
BGA helpfully is displaying a banner reminding me that I'm "participating in a real-time tournament -- please stay logged in to complete your games".
BUT I"VE BEEN LOGGED IN NOW FOR 8 HOURS AND IT"S STILL WARNING ME NOT TO LOG OUT???? I will need to sleep eventually....
Is this really how it's supposed to work? Why does anyone ever signup for a Real-Time Tournament? (Other than by mistake)
And btw -- there's no log of exactly what happened in my game history or my notification history. So I can't tell exactly what really happened or when.
My Karma's trashed. And I may need to stay logged in forever now to avoid more karma damage.
Sigh, please find a way to help avoid others having this problem... Something needs to change about how real-time tournaments function. Or they need to be removed -- this is way too much hassle for something that should be fun
