Arena Season 3: let's go!

By the way, some people still have turn-based games pending from the previous arena season that can not be joined (because the access is broken) nor cancelled (because the table creators can not have access to the table). Please kill delete all those tables.

I managed to cancel mine by going into simple mode (automatic), I believe that would be possible for everyone else as well.

I fully agree with the previous speakers. Disabling the turn-based Arena will significantly weaken the popularity of this mode, and in many games it will cause the Arena to cease to exist.
I was very sad about this information, because I play the most games on BGA in turn-based Arena and I am definitely not alone.

I understand there is a problem, but I think there are some good ideas on how to fix it better.

Whenever live or turn-based, the top players will still "seat out" and stop playing. It is the same problem with elo rating.

But that's not the reason turn-based has been stopped - the problem is not people stopping playing altogether, it's people who start lots of games and only finish the ones they are winning. That isn't possible in Real Time.

I can’t believe Turned Based is eliminated....I’m beside myself.
How can we effectively play and learn new games with friends, or new acquaintances from other countries?
How can all games be considered equal when it comes to the time required to play?
How are working adults supposed to partake in more than one or two games a week?

My friends and I joined this website early this year as a way to effectively have fun together while living in different time zones and Turn-Based games are the only way this is possible.
We also have found each of our own favorite games among the Arena crowd and Turned-Based games are the only way this is possible.

You are going to immediately alienate a mass amount of power users and I cannot believe this is happening. People will leave.

My 10 year old son loves arena mode, but he can only play turn-based due to screen limits. So now he can't play at all. He will be so disappointed.
Why can't the last two weeks switch to real time only? Then the rest of the season could accommodate both real-time and turn-based players.

Really sad to see Turn Based Arena go. Real time is just not an option. If there is a good alternative I look forward to hearing about it. But for now this is a real big blow to my experience. I wasn't hyper competitive in Arena so if people were cheating that sucks but it didn't bother me that much. I just like to compete a little and see how I was doing against players who took things a little more seriously than just the regular games.

That probably happens in very high ranks. In all my games, I have never seen this.

Hello, i m the second one in russian railroads arena and i can only play turn by turn games becouse i have small kids at home, i think that all the stronger players in rrr are in similar situation and all play asc games. We are a fair comunity and we are legal players, is not possible to play asc in somegames? Thank you!
