I recently played a new game called
Nidavellir, draft game where you bid to be the first one to choose a card from a pool. The catch is you've got 5 coins for 3 pools and the last two can be combined to get a better coin if you play the 0, for example not playing the 4 and 5 will discard the 5 coin to get a 9 coin.
There are different types of card and each type has a different way to give you points. Blue give you their face value, green is the square number of cards, orange is the number of cards multiplied by their face value combined etc. Then, some other neutral cards can only be purchased if you have one card of each color and give you really powerful bonuses.
Great experience playing, fun game (2 to 5 players, I personally played with 4 players) that can really translate well into a digital adaptation I believe. There is no strategy that seems to completely crush the others and you can counter a player who's winning.
