Carnegie

Post by CraftyBird »

I see Carnegie is available in Alpha now. Game looks awesome. I would love to see the rules but can't find them anywhere.

The final rulebook is still under development, but a draft rulebook will soon be available from the publisher.

I'm trying to find out how to be part of the alpha group, but couldn't find any additional info.
Is there a thread in the forum?

To participate in any game's alpha, you must either be part of the review group (which I believe requires being a user for over 3 months with at least 500 games played of at least 20 different games) or direct invite from the developer.

This is a smart strategy

It's a fantastic way to learn the game and its perfect for deciding whether or not you want the game

I have personally purchased 5 games since the Covid Lockdown because I played it on here

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience during this Alpha release. A rulebook draft is now available in a link in the Carnegie Players group's About section!
NOTICE: the rules draft is a WORK IN PROGRESS. It is not laid out or finalized. Please do not share this link or add it to the game info page.

Edit: The rules are now available on the BGA Wiki here: https://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/ Gamehelpcarnegie

If you are a reviewer, you can access the game by starting a review here:
https://boardgamearena.com/reviewer?game=carnegie

Once that has been done you will be able to access the "Carnegie Players" group here: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=7208686

Suggestion: Tooltips on the project pull out tab

Post by yoyoyo2020 »

Would be nice for newbies to know what those little symbols mean when the tabs are 'pulled out'.

Just noticed that the word ‘you’ in “You must select/ build/ donate etc” is not in the players’ colors like other games.

Good catch. In many cases where there was a specific interface prompt, I was missing the step that would make sure "You" was properly colored. This has been fixed in the latest update. For future issues, it would be helpful to create a bug report so everything can be tracked in one place.

Thanks!
