Still no access to BGA / No answer to GDPR Request

Post by Mach3Racer »

Hi, just wanted to confirm that whatever N_Faker confirmed to be true is still the case:

I have no access to BGA (incl. basic account functions) since some point in July. Yes, this does include the possibility to manage my PII data.

Also the statements made by sourisdessert (sp?) in the last thread he closed (I will not say it was censorship, make up your own mind ;) ) are possibly an expression of how little people associated with this side seem / prove to know about the site's functionality (or lack thereof in case of moderation).

Screenshot for proof attached, for souri and anyone who did not yet know.

Also: my formal GDPR request has been left without response. Not a good response either.

Kind regards to all of you,
Mach3Racer

and here is the other screenshot for context, clearly showing the affirmation by N_Faker and direct thread closing (I am not saying it was censorship at all, souris is most likely a class dude. Just make up your own mind ;))...

I can keep saying the truth: i have no access to BGA due to moderation, not even my basic account settings. This is wrong and should be fixed, that's all really.
It did earn my another moderation of 30 days for just stating these fact clearly and repeatedly.

You stated more than "just" facts. Mach3Racer clearly has access, forum posts have been made and games have been played.

Do you honestly expect this to end well?

You got moderated last time and I would be surprised if you don't this time as well.

What's the point in making these threads? It's not doing you any good.

LOL GIO.. My point is: I would like to have access to my basic account setting including the management of my personal data, including but not limited to personally identifiable information (PII). Thank you very much.
Guess it needed another repetition, just in case that wasnt clear, DESPITE mentioning it in pretty much every single post. I have worrying proof (including the general handling of my request by members/associates of this site) that such data cannot be trusted to this very site. Available by e-mail too, happy to share more upon request.
Well if anything it should help drive the message home, that people closely associated with this website seem to have less than optimal understanding of its functionality.

N_Faker: Again, you miss the point. Sorry to see that after you actually confirmed my locked out state: see screenshot.
The only things still working (until I was banned from Forum for stating said truth) was:
a) games in tournaments (i think it was some clotureelectric and hive games) I had signed up for long before the ban (no clue why, guess that makes all of us. But also hilarious/weird/inconsequential. Like: i can play those games, but NOT ACCESS MY BASIC ACCOUNT SETTINGS)
b) forum posts. To claim I said that wasnt the case while making forum posts all along is just ... (word removed). Obviously that too is a functionality that weirdly works WHILE ACCESS (this doesnt mean games, but my account settings!) TO MY BASIC ACCOUNT DATA DOES NOT WORK. SINCE JULY. Can we just fix this already?

Hope this lifted your confusion, glad to help y'all understand your site better.

Also, where is the response to my GDPR request? The deadline for that expired a few days ago. Just FYI.

I am really not interested in helping you guys do BASIC trouble-shooting on your own site AFTER you moderated me for giving you said free advice on the forums at great length.

I *STILL* do not have access to my basic account settings as described since ca. mid-July.

Also: am still waiting for an answer to my GDPR request.

Lastly: i think sourisdessert (sp) owes me an apology. People might get the impression (make up your own mind!) that he clearly used a tone and language that deserves ... a moderation? ;) Not saying it was, but there is a possibility that the words used to describe his behaviour are "bad form" (Again not saying that myself, make up your own mind.

Proof: all there, just look it up in this thread or the multiple closed (would not say it was censored myself, but feel free to make up your own mind.) threads.

So yeah BGA: how about I get some answers first? Start with the GDPR request as that is already a couple days over deadline. There is a process of how to deal with companies that do not comply with GDPR requests. Should I remind you again?

N_Faker: what is your affiliation with BGA, if any?

I do not believe you have told me how I should comply with your GDPR request to begin with.

N_Faker, it's not a personal thing. It depends on your affiliation with BGA. The thing you never really talk about.

My request was directed at BGA. Make up your own mind what that means for you, depending on your affiliation.

Stop making straw man arguments.

Does my access to basic account work? no.
Since when? July.
Progress on this? none.
Instead: being called a liar by the people who run this site.
Instead: being asked technical questions about this site about how this site even works by people, some of which built and run this site(lol)
Instead: being moderated for speaking the truth about not being able to access my account FOR MONTHS.

Some people who make up their own mind could go as far as to call this 'bullshit'. But I neither saying that nor suggesting such a thing. Make up your own mind. ;)
