Floating replay controls?

Just watching a replay of a game of downforce and it's a bit tricky to follow what happens from midway through - you have to keep scrolling to the top to do the next move, then scrolling back down to see how the cars end up being positioned, and I wonder if a few other games might benefit from the replay controls floating on one side of the screen so you can scroll up and down and still move events on
