For clue giving, I don't see why we can't have both options. If the user clicks a card, they must choose number and colour. If the user clicks a number or colour, they must choose a player.

(I haven't tried this yet, but it from the description it sounds like it is now impossible to say to a player "you have no fours" because you can't click on a card they don't have. And yes, I know that the English translation of the rules forbids this but it's not how the game was designed.)

This is not random: each red tile is a mistake.

Except that 95% of the time you are giving one of the 2 proposed clues.
Old interface: 2 clicks at opposite sides of the screen. New interface: 2 clicks really closed, same side of the screen => faster.
1. The red tiles are behind the played cards. How is this easier than the 3 tokens we had before?

2. You have to read through a wall of text each time. This takes more time than click-click. Also, with all players being below the clue buttons, you do not drag that far. If anything, let us click on the player and then display ALL the options in one view - all numbers and all colors at the same UI. No extra clicks.
I almost never used the proposed clues in my games. With multicolors you always want to choose some specific color.

In the previous version, in the 2p games my turns were on average 1:30 to 2:30. Now it is 4:00 to 5:00. This is NOT faster. This UI is horrible.

The new way of playing is even worst than it was.
- I can't play a card when I'm on a mobile device. Like someone said, the card doesn't follow my finger. I can't play this game on mobile anymore.
- I can't see all the players cards in 1 screen on mobile, I have to scroll down to see my own cards
- The discarded cards are more difficult to scan, as they don't have the same layout as the played cards, same goes for the cards in your hand
- It's more difficult to see at a glance how many faults there are
Please listen to our feedback. I'm inclined to stop playing when things don't improve quickly.

ITS NOT FASTER!!!!
Reading and scroll between different option is REALLLY HARD. That was MUCH MUCH easie before, i think that for me thats the MAIN problem with the new version. u have to READ each proposition and when u play multi u have MANY options to read....
NOT INTUITIVE AT ALL
Pleaso do something with that !

I stop playing Hanabi. Bye bye. This new version is the most terrible thing ever.

Separately, (but while someone is active in the project) it would be really nice if there were the option to display negative information that you get from your clues. e.g. if someone says that cards A, B and D are blue for example, you know that C is not blue (and also hence not multicolour, if the appropriate mode).

This needs to be a preference, and probably not selected by default because new players would likely find it confusing, but sometimes it is very important playing at multicolour level and I suspect even more so with Black Powder.

There is already a suggestion in the bug tracker, if you agree please vote here: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=9608&vote

Not able to change to "stacked" version on phone. On the computer it works.

Also, the layout needs to be re-thought for phone, all player hands and discard pile don't fit in the screen, despite that my phone resolution is quite high.

posting again for visibility.

playing the game on edge browser fixes a lot of the issues i had when playing it with firefox. can see the table much more clearly and all of the cards on the same screen (without having to scroll up and down constantly) also no issue/bugs when clicking the cards. if the playability would be the same on all browsers and mobile i think there would be much fewer complaints!

Everything is scattered. I can't see the discard pile while playing so I make mistakes. Clueing was easier, more intuitive, now you have to read only in english and is more like to make a mistake.

"These 2 cards are 3s". Very confusing. Unnecessary text. Much better the old way
