There is no point.
By simply seeing the cards and the wonders of the new edition, I was able to estimate it will be a very trash revamp of the game (my view is of course focused around 3p and competitive games). I clearly expressed in my guide how a revamp of the game should have been made.
I'm also never gonna pay again for this website, as they blatantly let cheaters use multiple accounts to steal the 1st place at the Arena. Despite being reported and even acknowledged by the website, they did nothing and gave no penalty to the cheater.
So... well... I'm retiring from the old (and only real) 7Wonders. Real life has other more interesting challenges :)
THIS IS SPARTA!

Pistolero might be done with 7 Wonders, but new edition needs a new guide.

Mine 1st is not as detailed, but it is in the video form:

Hope you enjoy it, I tried to include as much tricks as possible that let me enjoy sitting at the top of the arena this season.

Just started to play 7 Wonders. Is that document still relevant to current base game version? I have 7 Wonders Duel background and there we skip military all the time :D :D

It's kind of not, for a lot of reasons (blue buffed, cost changes, science better understood nowadays (both for and against it), meta way more developped more generally), but if you're starting out, a lot of the core concepts are still relevant. I mainly think about the importance of war.

Frankly, a better resource is there :

New edition, more experience, shorter, and the guy actually knew Pistolero very well so nothing is really lost.
I recommand the channel by the way. I would never have gone beyond the ~300 elo region without it. Jan sadly doesn't have time of energy for maintaining it but exploring what he has done is still very relevant if you want to get good.

A bit offtop. Can someone explain me what points are added in the end? I see the scores and then after final round scores are increased by some number and I can't understand where it comes from

Most likely you are describing the points awarded for the war after the 3rd era (+5 for each win, -1 for each loss).

No, I'm talking about the end of the game. Some points are added even when I have no war at all
