Yes, I agree. It makes a lot of sense for tables >=3
I mean, I am ready to run an alpha test on 6nimmt with some volunteers (10 or 15 players, 2 or 3 rounds), as soon as you give me authorization and enable the option.

Hope it will be soon!

2 new test tournaments with the new Swiss System:

Realtime 7 Wonders: https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=66251

Turnbased Puerto Rico: https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=66253

Thanks for your feedback!

Seems like a 33 player limit would have made more sense for a 3 player tournament. You sure you don't want to sneak one more player into the 7 Wonders tourney :-)

True ! But it's a 4 player tournament, with tables valid down to 3 players.

So the matchmaking will (hopefully) make 8 tables of 4 players in the first step.

The next steps will possibly have different table sizes, if some players are eliminated (absent), mixing 3p and 4p tables so that everybody can play.

I'd like to take advantage of the previous post to introduce Draasil, who is working on the tournament module at now. Thanks to him we are making a lot of progress on this area and hope to make even more :)

Wow that a very good news.

In the 7 wonders tournaments, 8 players have been skipped (because of no show) in the first step. What would have happened if only 7 players would have been skip ? So with 25 players remaining instead of 24...
The system would create tables of 4 and 3 if possible or let one player dont play ?

Exactly that, the matchmakers creates tables, preferring 4p, and using 3p to fill the blanks.

There are really rare cases where games have to be skipped with 3 to 4 players.

I don't know if this is a bug or a glitch of some sort but I was online and got the warning that I was involved in a real time tourney so to stay online. But then I never got a table open to me to join, and then I looked in a little bit after the start and see that I was absent from my table?

The tournament page should list somewhere the amount of matches per tournament.

Hi. Great job again :)

In the player tab, in the chart, can you add a column for current rank?
