Playing Carcassonne in Carcassonne

Post by RicardoRix »

This time last week I was lucky enough to visit Carcassonne, and guess what - I played a game of Carcassonne while I was there.
La cite was amazing, a bit like the tower of London, only free, much sunnier and has crepes ;)
My apologies to all the french people that had to talk to me.

I did also notice Le Havre on the map on the way down but I've never read the rules to that game so I didn't visit it

Anyone else? Nusfjord in Nusfjord perhaps...

Man. I thought my bucket list goal of eating food in the place it was named after (Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, NY; Santa Fe salad in Santa Fe; Boston cream pie in Boston MA; etc.) was a good one. Now I've got to travel a whole lot more :) (I also wonder what the chances of completing Terraforming Mars would be.... )

I do not advise you to learn the rules of Le Havre, nor to visit Le Havre.
You should not have to inflict either of them on yourself. ;)

So many possibilities spring to mind here:

A game of Checkers in Chequers with Boris?

A game of "Escape From Colditz" in Colditz castle, now a hotel ?

A game of Alhambra in Alhambra palace?

A game of Ticket To Ride on the Orient Express

Any others?
