BGA making games for no reason

So I made a couple open games but now BGA keeps creating a game when I don't do anything. I will press quit game but then it Immediately makes another open game. What is going on? how can I stop this?

It will do this if you started searching for a game in "Automatic" mode until a game starts.

To stop it, leave the "queue" for games by going back to the "play now" section. https://boardgamearena.com/lobby, change the menu settings to whatever you used to queue for a table (Normal/Realtime etc), and Automatic. There should be a timer over the game (waiting for players...) and a cancel button.

ah but that canceled the game that I was waiting for opponents as well as the other that I didn't want. In other words I just wanted to make 1 game not 2 and it kept making 2. I was just about to start a game but now it is canceled

idk, maybe something weird just happened it doesn't seem that it did the same thing again

Automatic mode will create multiple tables with different settings until one fills up. There will be a delay before it starts creating tables with your “not preferred” settings.

If you’d prefer to have more control over this process, I would recommend setting up the table manually.
