Transition to Elite League in Arena

I just gained Elite League status in Kingdom Builder after starting in Bronze and making it through the Gold league this season but I am confused as to why this happened. According to leaderboards, there is a Platinum and Diamond league for this game but it seems I went right from Gold to Elite.

What am I missing?
