Arena Season 3: let's go!

The number games played includes all games that were created even if they didn’t get enough people to started. Number games completed would be more useful.

Can someone explain to me how Arena points are awarded in multiplayer games? I mostly play Kingdom Builder in Arena (4-player), and I usually get a small gain when finishing second. But I just finished a game in second and got nothing, against three players who are one rank above me. Any help?

Well, I know that Elite rankings are going to work more like ELO than the usual Arena points do, so that's not as odd to me....

A win vs two Elite players and one Diamond, and I get +2? Climbing in Kingdom Builder is hard enough between the randomness and the multiplayer, but the scoring system seems to be working against me too.

Edit: Actually, I found this in the FAQ: "Note: If you play a 3+ game, the number of Arena points you get is divided by the number of opponents. So beating 5 opponents from the same league brings you 3 x 5 / 5 = 3 points." I promise to stop spamming this thread now. Thanks all!

scoring system is wrong here. since you beat 3 players at your level or above you should be getting at least +3. In fact you should really get +4 here (assuming the 2 elite players were elite before the game). A bug the devs should look at.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, but i found a cheater in one of the arena games i am currently in. By the looks of it he will win the game. I have reported him but since I'd like to wait for the mods to review my report, I cannot play at my other turn based tables without letting the cheater get closer to winning. Can anyone help, or direct me to where I can get help?

And also might this rule potentially might be abused, by starting as many games as possible near the dead-line against unsuspecting victims knowing they are unlikely to finish and simply make all your moves as quickly as possible.

The rules may evolve (we are still learning), but yes we may forbid the creation of new turn-based tables near the end of Arena so we can make sure there are no "innocent victims".

Just checking in what the status on this is. For some games there are already quite a lot of turnbased tables currently in progress, and if people can continue to open them the final ranking might see some very large and unpredictable changes just based on those turnbased tables ending.
