so what OP is doing is explicitly forbidden. The report was probably filed with Elo boosting as the listed reason because there is no way to file a report which is actually reflective of the situation.

It is acceptable to own several accounts on BGA, as long as it is reasonable and does not violate another rule of the website.

Whatshisbucket, that is only 1 statement you copy-pasted; there are other places on the site, where is is written that multiple accounts are not forbidden, as long as their purpose is not to boost ELO, like in this case. So there is that vagueness of the "multiple accounts" thingy, everyone is talking about.

But... Having 5 accounts in order to get... accomplishment by having all in TOP 20 in "Sechs nimmt!", is in direct collision with 4 people's accomplishment of getting their only account in TOP 20 (for instance places 17-20), in that game, as well.

I think BGA should be cleared in regards to the Multiple Accounts thing, as well as delete all extra accounts who do what the Original Poster does, and let other single-account players get some accomplishment, as well.

I think BGA should probably clarify the situation. If creating multiple accounts is deemed to be wrong even if there is no evidence of cheating (which I don't think is unreasonable) then they should alter their FAQs to make this clear.

I can't think of any legitimate reason for having multiple accounts.

Just playing devil's advocate here: Having a test account is helpful for tracking down what triggers a bug, and possibly for learning the interface of a new game. But I can't see why secondary accounts should play anywhere near as often as the primary account.

Hotseat is quite buggy and straight out does not work for any game without a strict turn order.

For sure, you are a cheater and ALL your accounts should be banned and erased from rankings.

I understand you did not cheat directly by playing fake games between you and yourself.
But you did cheat anyway., in a more subtle way.
The evidence is that you are making your opponents lose elo points. When someone plays against a supposed beginner, he will lose a very high amount of elo points while if he had been playing against you (with your real ranking) he would have lost much fewer. So none of your rankings are honest.

You are basically just saying that multiple accounts aren't allowed, or specifically that they cannot play the same game, in a roundabout way.

If multiaccounts are allowed: isn't it a given that they are used to play games?
