Help: how to start a single player game?

I cannot figure out how to start a single player game?
For example, I want to play "Off the Rails" on my own. The game says, it's for 1-4 players. But I don't see an option to start a game just by myself. When I go to the "Play Now" options, I'm always asked to select a friend to play with - or maybe I just haven't figured out the right options to choose from.
Wouldn't it be Simple Game > Realtime > ??? (not sure about the last option here?)

I usually leave the third dropdown set to manual. Then I click "play now" on the game and then "create". This takes me to a page with options and I set the number of players there. I did a quick test for Off the Rails and also had to set Training mode otherwise it requires 2 players.

If you want to use automatic mode to do it, you need to go into the games settings (gear icon on the play now page), advanced settings, game mode and allow it to give you training mode. (Probably easier to say no to normal mode if you'd bothering with those extra presses.

Manual mode is much easier, create table, switch to training mode, start game.

Thanks for your replies, wasn't aware of this training mode in certain games. Will give it a try.
