Yup. The whole thing was very misleading. They state "new games", but the games are already on the site under the Beta... doesnt really qualify as new. Could have easily just said "Beta's are finalized and added to the Recent Games list on each day of Dec"

Edit: The info is right now.
The info on the 26th December release is wrong. The link is right though.

People are taking beta for granted. The games presented on the news during the last year were always from the beta sections except very rare occasions. So I don't see why this would be any different for this calendar. I agree the communication was slightly misleading though.TangoAndCash wrote: ↑28 December 2020, 15:57Yup. The problem is that these games are NOT changing from Beta to released because of improvements, fixes or thoroughness of testing, they are just being pushed for gimmicky reasons. Pretty deceptive event with crappy games. I personally would have been more excited about a couple good games getting done for the month than ANY time spent on what they did. Yucata has brought on ragas dice, lorenzo & underwater cities during this same time period! Way better games that actually have teeth and people want to play. Don't get me wrong, I spend a lot of time here and am a premium member, this just seemed like a really poorly executed marketing gimmick.Tisaac wrote: ↑28 December 2020, 16:26 People are taking beta for granted. Do you have any data to support your claim ?EricInVancouver wrote: ↑29 December 2020, 01:50The problem is that these games are NOT changing from Beta to released because of improvements, fixes or thoroughness of testing, they are just being pushed for gimmicky reasons.Tisaac wrote: ↑28 December 2020, 16:26 People are taking beta for granted. That's actually the opposite. Those games were ready and waiting for some communication space to be officially released... We thought we had found a nice way to do it (and many players seem to enjoy it) but of course not everybody will feel the same. We all have our preferences and tastes and that's ok. We are happy that a lot of players enjoyed it.Tisaac wrote: ↑29 December 2020, 11:19Do you have any data to support your claim ?EricInVancouver wrote: ↑29 December 2020, 01:50The problem is that these games are NOT changing from Beta to released because of improvements, fixes or thoroughness of testing, they are just being pushed for gimmicky reasons.Tisaac wrote: ↑28 December 2020, 16:26 People are taking beta for granted.
