Sourisdudesert, I need help please

Post by compte obelète »

Someone in my rallyman GT game give me a red thumb, but he dose it in wrong way too (he was doing kingmaking) (the blue guy in 3rd place)

They give me a red thumb and get me to 60% Karma because of that, but they did kingmaking moves against PPR4 (orange guy), that why I said, it's was too easy, normally whiteout that move, PPR4 was winning. Blocking PPR4 because he Gose at 4th gear (2nd highest in the game's table) when yellow flag when I was first at 1st gear (lowest in the game's table), and at the end he said: grew up

Very insulting red thumb. :( And I manifest it

The link will be there soon since I can't report him back...

There is the player that did everything bad.

And there is the game:

you only drop to 60% if you get a lot of red thumbs. one person doesn't make much difference. You continuously spam these forums with things that shouldn't be posted here and continually complain about others on the forums, so if you have that same attitude in games it is no wonder you have so many red thumbs.

I don't get it. You won fairly easily. I can't see how you got any help from the accused player. The player you accuse had a major battle against the player who finished second. It was pretty close between them for a long time. The player who finished last was nowhere near any of you.

So I'm not surprised s/he gave you a red thumb if you accused him / her of kingmaking.

Looking at where they placed dice, it's quite possible they never even noticed the yellow flag., I know someimes when I've been playing rallyman I haven't noticed those flags.

If you're going to accuse someone of kingmaking, it's the game itself for giving out that yellow flag, as you being in front took full advantage of it.

He noticed it, and I was first in this situation at 1st gear, and he decided to go at 4th gear, to block out PPR4

The move I'm talking about decided that I won, but we was pretty near each other's at the start and he did a bad thing cause he can't go far away if going higher than me. Even PPR4 said that the blue guy killed his race. Meaning of a possible kingmaking move. Period.

Yeah, but this time it's felling unfair red thumb, because a kingmaking move is considered a bad thing in BGA, except one game, but it isn't the only game that kingmaking moves are ok. And normally, whiteout anything that have something seem illegal on BGA, I have a great attitude. But there is like 1% of my games that I have the felling that illegal things happen.

KIlling someone's race is not kingmaking though. Blue and orange were battling for second place. Blocking his / her opponent is not handing you the race, it's trying to win second place for himself / herself.

But, I was first and everything and he stopped at 4th gear while a yellow flag was on and I was at 1st gear, and doing this lead to a easy win, whiteout blue guy's 4th gear placement, PPR4 (orange) would have the win. Cause he was a 400+ elo and I tell you I don't have any chance against them if 1v1, but he block up the thing and blue guy actually have more chances to win if they stopped at 1st gear than at 4th gear, see in the second series of play (right after the first one) of every player. And tell me he didn't notice the yellow flag and he could easily stop at 1st gear, and have the chances to overtake me.

Not the point. It's only kingmaking if the action had no benefit to the person doing the action or is even negative to them. The reality is that s/he did it because s/he was battling for second. That it benefitted you is merely accidental.

Some players play a bunch of bad moves because they are just not good at games, without any favoritism.
Earning advantage from other players' mistakes happens a lot in multiplayer games, especially in irl group plays.
Let's think of a Puerto Rico game with 3 seasoned players and 1 novice.
All seasoned players would notice the player after the novice benefitting most. Hello craftsman!

I don't think this is a kingmaking scenario at all.
It seems that player genuinely tried the best but still it wasn't good enough.
So... you basically said 'ez pz. thanks for your inferior skill lol'. No wonder you've got red thumbs that much.
If you don't want to encounter these pseudo-kingmaking scenarios, limit your table access by ratings. Simple.

Do you even know the definition of kingmaking?
How can you post a player profile in the forum accusing him of something that you have no idea what it is??

1. Kingmaking is about doing moves that go in your defavor in order to beneficiate another player for him to win the game.
-> in that case, it didn't happpen

2. Blocking cars in Rallyman IS ALLOWED and this is the way you have to play, if not, you are just relying in dice and luck... this is not a game about luck, believe me....

3. You posted that message to complain about a red thumb given by someone you are accusing wrongly.... do you even how creepy is your message ?

Stop complaining in public, asking for help as if it was something important and urgent.
There is nothing to complain about, and less from you in that game, that won easily... If a player gives you a red thumb, think about why it happened instead of trying to shame him in public...
