game_box images.

Post by RicardoRix »

Two of the default game_box images you get in a new project have misleading text on them.

They have the text in the images that say 280px x 280px when in fact it's not.

Is it also possible to have a display for each of the standard required images in the control panel somewhere, 'test images' or something that we can quickly see if everything is OK after an upload button click?

game_box180.png and game_box75.png are generated automatically from game_box.png when you hit the reload game images button in the control panel, you dont need to worry about them :)

Then we shouldn't be given them by default in a new project, otherwise they get in the way....

Don't modify these images, they are auto generated by "Reload game box image" action. If you have another copy of your source make sure you update you copy of these files after they have been generated and not override with old copied.
and maybe this information should be provided in the game_box.png image text as well, and appear in the result of uploading new game images.

Any is it not possible just to resize the original image with css background-size ?

My guess is that they are in the new project because its a ready to run copy. But yes it confused me at first as well. Descriptive text in the image might help, but it is in the docs at least.
