Action when a player is "out of time"

Post by Heddicmi »

Hello world !

I've actually 2 tables (with 3 and 4 players) where one of the players is out of time. I've decided to click on the button to "skip the turn" of this player. (I played with the french interface, I'm not sure if "skip the turn" is the right term . Sorry if not)

The result is different.
On the 3 players table, the player's turn is passed.
On the 4 players table, the player's turn is not passed.

I'm quite new on BGA and I don't really understand how this option works.

Did the turn skipped when all over player clikck on the button ? It seems logical  but I don't know if it's the rule.

Thanks for your help

For questions like this it is best to post the links to the games. As far as I know, the effect of the "skip-turn" mechanism depends on the actual boardgame you've chosen to play. For some games, it is easy to program to skip turns of players, for others (e.g. team games), it is not easy.

In any case, it should be sufficient if one player decides to skip a turn of an absent player, no need that anyone at the table does it.

Ok ! Thx for your answers. I was thinking there's a global rules. So good to that it depends of the game.
