How to report players working together?

Post by notonion »

I just got matched into a game with 3 players who are playing together in the game Love Letter. I'm still fairly new to BGA so I can't even report any of them.

If I'm not already eliminated or protected by a handmaid, they'll target me every time with priest or guard, as well as other cards that can eliminate a player. Even when I have zero tokens, and other players are at game point, I'll still be the one getting focused first. They're also all friends on BGA, according to their profiles. Reviewing the game history alone clearly shows they're colluding together. Trying to report them through their profile only tells me to give them a red thumbs, which I'm unable.

I just have the same problem : Stone age, we were 3. I found it took some time between the 2 others. I'm asking them, and they answer was that they were busy with their baby. So, they were in the same room with different IP.
What can we do, when they systematically block the third gamer?

Gamers : frzfrz and SabsiWaxi

Photos of the conversation in which they recognize to be at the same address.
When we know it, we have the choice, but when we are confronted with the fact it's cheating

2 victims when 5 differnets kingmakers are there?

dude, that a 1:2,5 ratio. so the people thinking that kingmaking isn't often happening, look at this ratio of victims:kingmakers players .

Just playing from the same IP or in the same room is not enough to constitute kingmaking. If you see suspicious moves, the red thumb is the only option.

Which is sad because sometimes, you see blatant kingmaking when spectating games or looking through the profile of a player and can't do anything since you haven't played with them. For instance, there is a game where the top ELO player got there by kingmaking with another user (like, playing 50 games together or systematically playing to advantage one of them) ... but I can't report this because I have never played with any of them.

you can still report people if you haven't played with them.

Though this Stone Age complaint seems pretty artificial, playing from the same place is nothing wrong, looking at the results of the players shows pretty clearly they aren't cheating to help each other.

If you look at the TOP 10 of SOOOO many games you will discover SOOOO many that just quit after 1 play, same player wins all the time... this is 10 players * 279 games... 2800 possible players. But you will see many are the same, just a coincidence?!?!?

I reported some, basically they got 10 days reduction of Karma to 50%, that was it. Kept all the achivements, the ranks, and the ELO... So, all good!

yeah I've reported players who've cheated in over 100 games and never get Elo reset or achievements taken away.
