Re: FAQ: new achievements & XP system

Post by Grapelli »

After reading through most of this thread I'm getting a little frustrated. There is too little documentation on this site about awards / achievements (there must be hundreds ...) and their conditions.

While I appreciate the suggestion of LeSteffen to write a proper FAQ, it would probably take an admin or developer of BGA to do so. The information is just not there. Or is it?

An award system is not complete without players knowing what awards there are and their resp. conditions.

Or maybe they are all listed on sprockitz's achievements page and I just didn't realize ...? ;)

Will there be a subsequent adjustment here?
Hi,

No change here: XP depends on number of active players at the time you win the achievement. So for a recent game, you get less points when reaching a high ELO position early. However, if you go again to the same position when there is more active player, the XP are increased.
This is not true. Unless this bug has been fixed in the past few days. Once you get an achievement there is no way to re-earn it for more xp
It does not increase. The bug is not fixed yet.

Is it possible to create a badge about a 100 wins streak or is it a clear decision to limit to 50 ? :?

Nevermind. Seems that practice games and games in alpha don't count for this achievement, so I haven't hit 200 'real' games yet.

Agree. I can confirm that there's no XP increasing in the trophies already owned.

Hi! Why i got the Nobel achievement (playing with every game on BGA)? There are ~25-30 games that i haven't tried yet.

Salut !
