How do you start a solitaire game?

If you go to the games tab, you can set the filter to show games with only one player. However, I cannot figure out how to start a single player game. I've tried setting a solo game for La Granja and Rallyman and both times I get an error that I must pick a friend to play with. I've also tried starting a game in automatic mode, but there is no way to set the preferences to single player. How do you start a solo game on BGA?

You need to enable "Training mode" (so games that don't count for ELO)
Solitaire is never possible if you play with ELO.

This still doesn't make sense. If I go to "Play Now" and set Simple, Real Time, Friends and then click a game, that is when I get the error I need to invite people. I don't get the option to go into training mode until the table is created, but I can't create a table to turn off ELO.
