Tedious naval interception

Post by RobertBr »

Okay, so you have to check for intercepts in each sea zone and that is fine. But it is very tedious to have to reprogram the naval movement every time it happens (even if the other player declines to intercept)... can we just have it assumed that a ship is going where it said it was going unless it actually gets intercepted. And can we just ignore intercepts for fleets that are exhausted and getting supply since they are in practice irrelevant. This constant clicking makes Mediterranean actions very tedious.

You don't have to reprogram, naval path is memorized, not on your browser ? (if not, create a bug report)
Not in supply phase, but you have just to click on destination.

How long does it take to play a Mediterranean supply phase in real live game?
On my opinion, I can't simplify supply phase more.

If you have a precise idea for an improvement, create a bug (improvement) report, so other players can vote for it.

Thanks for playing.

A real life game would play faster, I would say "Force H' is going to collect its supply from Western Indian Ocean, I'll tell you if it has fewer than 6 sorties I will say something' and it would take 0 seconds in every supply phase for the rest of the game. In the implementation I need to scroll across the board from Malta and reclick every time after my opponent declines to intercept.

So that is a very specific improvement - fleets tracing a supply with six sorties simply don't check for interception at all (it is irrelevant).

This one could be easy done.
