Okay, I've now played through the various shorter scenarios and the first two years of the Main Event solo and have set up my first full three player game (in which I am currently in the unfortunate position of defending Poland).

Its quite intersting to have a proper hex and counter game on the site though it does pose some challenges (as I learnt). So I've decided to try playing through some of the scenarios in videos explaining interface and rules at the same time, since the current walkthroughs are for physical copies. Great, I love this kind of initiative.

By the way, during game setup, choosing a Factions option is useless for one player game.
You're playing all factions if you are alone.

This option is optimized for two players game (I should do something for 3 players game).

I assumed the 'faction' option determined whether the interface said I had won after the game had finished? Is that not the case.

I finished recording my thoughts on a training scenario for USSR 1941 and then discovered it was a monster and my computer was not up to rendering a file that was the length of a feature film, so I am breaking it up into sections. This really was a monster. I'm planning to tackle France 1944 next which I think is the logical third scenario to solo-play if you are learning and hopefully it won't run to two hours.

So I completed editing France 44 last night and was planning to wait a few days before posting a link but the designer has already found it and is busy making comments on it (one of which means I will need to file a bug report, but in the morning, I'm going to watch a movie), so for everyone else here it is:

The Med 40 t 42. This is the solo scenario that I found most tedious but also most useful as I was playing. The more you know about naval supply, both in terms of rules and the interface (which was still doing a few odd things I didn't quite understand, even at this point) the better you will be at the game.
