Thank you Lunalol!

Post by cburk »

I just wanted to say thank you for implementing USE. I've now spent way too many hours in this game and besides my seemingly abominable luck at crucial moments I've very much enjoyed this. Your responsiveness to bugs has been excellent and given the complexity of the game the user interface is quite good. I know as a developer myself that the feedback programmers get is often mainly negative, and strangely it's even more negative if you're a volunteer programmer. I want to thank you for a job well done!

I cannot thank Lunalol enough for implementing this for BGA. He's done a great job. I'm honored by his willingness to take on this major project. It's made USE available to gamers who may not have had the ability to play the physical boardgame or were willing to try it using another program like VASSAL, which does not enforce the rules.

Whether or not a player likes the game after playing it, I hope they appreciate the effort involved to implement it.

I don't know if I was going to play the physical game, as there are so many pawns, as with all wargames.
but on pc, it's a great experience.

A pharaonic work without a doubt ^^

Absolutely and I've noticed some other little improvements being made as I've been playing. That is real dedication.
