Custom Chat Phrases

I've been on BGA for quite a while now, and only recently found out that when you click on the meeple in game chat, you can access a list of common phrases as well. I personally loathe the GG, as it comes off as robotic. I understand its use as shorthand for many things, but I would LOVE to be able to customize that list.

That can't be too much to ask for, can it?

The point of standard chat phrases is that they are automatically translated in every language, so everyone gets to read them in the same language as their interface.
(I was very confused by that in my first few games and started answering back in French to peoples that didn't speak French but were using standard chat phrases).

Ah, of course! That makes sense. I still think it would be nice to have a couple customizable slots. Till then, I'll just keep my typing fingers busy. First world problems, no?
