Expansion of production in Alpha?

Hi,
I saw 7 wonders duel has now an expansion in Alpha. How can this be done of a game that is in production? Do you need to create a new project for that?

Hi

Yes it is better. I did this for Dice Forge also. The only issue that I see is with the players as they need to add the game instead of playing with the production game
