FAQ: Arena mode

Je voudrais savoir comment accéder au classement Arena d'un joueur à un jeu donné, sans être obligé de faire défiler le classement Arena de ce jeu, jusqu'à tomber sur le joueur en question.

I don't think there is a direct way to do that, not that I have found it at least.

The easiest way to do that, if the user isn't in the higher ranks of a game, is probably to look at their game history and then sort by the relevant game.

Hi,

Does anybody know how the Arena game settings varies? I can see that last season 7 Wonders Arena games were played by 3 players, now by 4. Race for the Galaxy has enabled expansion for the Arena games, etc.

Is there a predefined list of options which iterates from season to season, or I can vote for the next season setup somewhere?

Some games have rotations, like 7 Wonders alternates 3p and 4p.

For some games they still are kind of working out what the arena settings should be and listening to community feedback. Most generally you can create a forum post, try to get people to comment in on what they would like to see or try, and the admins have been somewhat open to this. Or at least in the case of Terra Mystica I and some other strong players dropped our thoughts that we'd like to see some map rotation in arena settings, and this has happened.

I was told in previous season to click opponents of my level using the gear. But that is not working and continue to have bronze opponents matched against me where winning against them does not give but maybe 1 star, and losing sinks 5 stars.
I still feel we should be able to leave a game if matched with opponent 2 or 3 levels below us.

Please fix this in some way. Either make the gear work, or add the feature where we must click 'accept' to play the game in arena mode like the other versions.

I checked all your Arena settings for games where you have an higher league than Bronze.

I didn't see any restrictions on your opponents level.

So the system is trying to match you with players from the same league, but after a while it can match you with anyone, even Bronze.

If you want to change that, you should change your settings.

As many player say, luck based games needs another type of rewards...

Or at least there should be the possibility of being able to set restrictions also inside Elite League with opposite level.
Probability of lose against LUCK is higher than probability to win because one is stronger.
Or maybe in Elite have to change method and don't use like ELO

absurd, I was second in Elite, lost with the third and I lost 20 points ... it is unlikely to recover them especially in games where luck has a big weight

As the season ends, if a game is still undecided, the player with most time left wins, right? If you use a holiday joker on last day and boost time to 6 days, does this mean you will automatically win all your games, if no one else does the same?
