First Tournament on Unconditional War

Post by Arkham Adventures TV »

A first tournament on Unconditional Surrender is organized on Monday February 15, 2021 at 9 p.m., one week to play your 2 games, direct elimination system.

Hopefully there are many more in this fantastic elitist game ! :D

Perhaps for next one, think about using DUEL system to make tournament more balanced (but games will have duration doubled!).

By the way, nice idea.

I think you can still make changes at this stage so can I make a suggestion that you change the time. If you run a basic Carcasonne tournament at 3 days most games will end due to the clock... I can't realistically see more than 5-10% of the games in this finishing. So can I suggest you use the 15 day option (which is a week on each players time) as a first attempt.

players have to agree to a slot or two one-hour slots to play their game. it is clear that turn based will not work on this game. thanks for the suggestion

It looks like 12 games so far, four clear wins, five tie breaks, and three (25%) decided on time. Not as bad as I expected but the KO format is probably helping.
