Games with low-res cards, tooltips on iPad?

In games where images are low res (eg Seasons) I have to rely on hovering over the card and reading the tooltip. This is fine on PC but on iPad the tooltip doesn’t display (you can’t hover on touchscreen). I’d really like to play BGA on the iPad so does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the app returning at any point?

On my tablet if I touch the screen and hold my finger down it treats it as a hover. It's not an iPad though

Unfortunately when you do that on iPad you get a contextual menu select/copy etc.

This would have to be implemented by the developers of the page/game.
