I have this state description: "clienttranslate('${actplayer} must discard one tile from his hand')".
Is there a way to replace "his" by "her" depend on player gender?

The best way, for now, is to use a neutral form:

"clienttranslate('${actplayer} must discard one tile from their hand')".
