I think that the rules states that you can't look at the old tricks:
Page 4: A trick that has been won is set aside face down. You may only take a look at the cards from the trick won most recently.

But if that information is freely available to anyone with pen and paper then shouldn't it be an option, regardless of what the rules say?

With online play sometimes you have to allow that more information is available than would be the case with play in real life.

I agree, Baron.

This one modification would help those who haven't played trick taking games to become familiar with the genre and play more of The Crew.

Hiding behind the rules for IRL play doesn't make sense for the unique demands of online card and board games. More players means more money for The Crew's publisher. Why not do this (as an option that could be turned off/on as desired) and keep both players AND publisher happy?

And this would also be a great way for BGA to market itself to game publishers, showing that BGA knows how to take care of the publishers it licenses with.

Well a game always go through a play test with the designer and the publisher of the game before going to beta, so in principle that means that they were ok with that implementation.

It's much harder to recall cards played on screen than it is to recall tricks played with physical cards (I've always found this playing bridge IRL and on BCL).

Is the Crew: Deep Sea Mission being developed?

Ehh, doesn't mean the publishers know what an online implementation COULD do to the popularity and playability of their game. That's for the experts in online play to show them. :)

I wanted to add my vote for a way to see previously played cards as well.

Most of my game plays are async. IRL it's much easier to keep track of cards. When playing multiple games of The Crew async, I have to make notes or go back through the log to see what cards have been played. Otherwise, it's impossible to keep track when playing multiple missions, each which take several days to complete. Please add an option to display the cards that have already been played!!! :D

Check out the bug report page - lots of entries on there are "suggestion" rather than "bug". https://boardgamearena.com/bugs
